Ingredients

  • 3 liters juice, blackberry
  • 600 g cane suar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla, ground, or 2 vanilla pods, sliced
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 5 star anise
  • 2 bottles schnapps, (double grain, 0.7l each)

Instructions

  1. Juice 3 kg of blackberries. That should make about 3 liters of juice.
  2. Boil the juice with sugar and the spices until the sugar has dissolved. Let the mixture cool completely, remove the spices. Maybe a little sweetener. Add 2 bottles of Doppelkorn, stir well and fill into bottles (I got 7 bottles out).
  3. This is how quickly a delicious liqueur can be produced, which is ready to drink immediately, but which gains in taste after longer storage. In pretty carafes it is a very welcome gift.
