Deep-Fried Pea Meatballs

Even those who do not like pea dishes ate pea meatballs with pleasure.

Ingredients

  • Boiled peas – 400 g
  • Cheese – 50 g
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Eggs – 1 pc.
  • Bread crumbs – 2-3 tbsp
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon (optional)
  • Flour – 3-4 tbsp
  • Deep fat oil – 200-300 g

Directions

  1. How to cook pea meatballs:
    Grate cheese on a fine grater.
  2. Finely chop the onion.
  3. Chop the greens.
  4. Mix boiled peas with cheese, onions, herbs, bread crumbs, egg and ground black pepper. Add salt if necessary.
  5. Mix everything thoroughly and let stand for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Form walnut-sized balls from the pea mass. Dip the meatballs in flour.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a cauldron or saucepan. Dip the prepared meatballs in portions in oil and, stirring from time to time, fry over medium heat until golden brown (7-10 minutes)
  8. Put the finished meatballs on napkins to stack excess fat.
  9. The pea meatballs are ready.
