French Toast with Caramelized Bananas

For breakfast on a weekend, when you want to pamper yourself with something not only healthy and satisfying, but also delicious, I want to offer you a very cool idea. Memorize and repeat in your kitchen!

Servings: 4


  • Egg – 3 Pieces
  • Milk or Cream – 1 Glass
  • Cinnamon – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Bread – 8 Slices (Yesterday’s better)
  • Butter – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Banana – 3 Pieces
  • Cinnamon and Nutmeg – To taste
  • Brown Sugar – 1/2 Cup
  • Butter – 100 grams (caramel)
  • Rum – 50 Milliliters (optional)


  1. Drive eggs into a deep and wide container, add milk (cream), cinnamon. Whisk thoroughly until smooth.
  2. Spread a slice of bread for 30 seconds.
  3. Then turn over and hold for another 30 seconds. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a skillet.
  4. Place the bread slices in a skillet and grill until golden brown on both sides for about 3 minutes.
  5. Prepare all the caramel ingredients in parallel. Peel the bananas and cut into slices. Melt the butter and sugar in a skillet.
  6. Spoon bananas into caramel, add cinnamon and nutmeg for flavor, add rum if desired. Simmer the bananas for 2-3 minutes over medium heat, then gently turn over and fry until golden brown on the other side.
  7. Put the prepared toast on a plate, top with the caramelized bananas and serve.
