  • 1 chicken breast
  • 4 pretzel (s), TK
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder, hot
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into 2 - 3 cm cubes, mix with the oil, paprika powder and salt in a bowl and let it steep for a while.
  2. Let the unbaked frozen pretzels thaw, carefully untie and knead the thicker middle a little thinner - make sure that the dough strand stays in one piece and does not become too thin. Wrap a strand of dough on each long shashlik skewer (well made of metal) - it is best to start with a knot and put a piece of chicken on the skewer after each loop. At the end, knot the dough again so that it sits firmly. Spread the rest of the seasoned oil over the finished skewers.
  3. Grill on a not too hot spot. If it gets too hot, the dough will be black on the outside but sticky on the inside and the meat won`t be through. So grill it slowly. Turn over often and carefully at the beginning so that the dough does not stick to the wire rack.
