Ingredients

  • 500 g natural fish (herrin fillets), pickled in oil
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 3 pickled cucumber (s)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, medium hot

Instructions

  1. Take the matjes out of the oil and cut into small cubes, we will need the oil later. Chop the onion and pickles and add to the fish. Mix everything with the mustard and add a little of the oil. Let it steep for a few hours and enjoy with bread.
  2. Great as a spread and very easy to prepare.
