Ingredients

  • 1 liter milk
  • 6 cardamom pods, green, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled cinnamon, ground
  • 1 pinch clove (s), ground
  • 1 pinch allspice, ground
  • 100 g suar
  • 300 g yourt, at least 3.5% fat

Instructions

  1. Put the milk with the sugar and the spices in a saucepan, bring to the boil while stirring, then switch back to the lowest heat and let it simmer for about 1 hour. Beat repeatedly with the whisk so that the milk does not hit the bottom of the pot. Pour through a fine sieve and let cool.
  2. Now stir in the yogurt with the whisk. I prefer Greek yogurt with around 10% fat. The mass should have a creamy consistency.
  3. Now fill this mixture into molds and let it freeze overnight.
  4. Take the ice cream out of the freezer approx. 10 minutes before serving, turn it out onto a plate and serve with an exotic fruit salad or a mango mirror.
