Lula Kebab in Bacon

Juicy tasty meat in a crispy bacon crust.

Ingredients

  • Mixed minced meat – 500 g
  • Onions – 2 pcs.
  • Potatoes – 1 pc.
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Dry basil – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Bacon – 100 g
  • Dry wine or beer – 150 ml

Directions

  1. Peel potatoes and onions and mince them . Scroll the minced meat again. Add egg, pepper, basil and salt, mix well and beat very well. Add 2-3 cloves of garlic if desired. Put in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  2. On wooden skewers (if you are going to fry on coals, then on skewers) we string the minced meat, forming sausages 10-15 cm long from it. Wrap the sausages with bacon.
  3. It is best to fry the kebab on hot coals, but if this is not possible, place it on a baking sheet so that it sags on it, and put it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes. Turn the kebab over every 15 minutes and sprinkle with wine or beer.
  4. Put the finished kebab on a plate and remove the skewers. Lula kebab can be served with parsley, kynza, lemon, tomato, ketchup. I had salad and boiled potatoes.
