Ingredients

  • 6 small potatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 200 ml broth
  • salt and pepper
  • some oil

Instructions

  1. Put some oil in a pan. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and add them to the pan. Peel the garlic cloves and add to the potatoes. Mix the broth, add salt and pepper and pour over the potatoes. Put a lid on the pan.
  2. Bring the potatoes to the boil at the highest temperature. As soon as it boils, simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes until the water is almost gone. After about 30 minutes, prick a potato with a toothpick. If they`re soft, they`re done. If it is still hard, add some water and let it simmer for another 5 - 10 minutes.
  3. Caution: If all the water has boiled away, the potatoes will burn, so always keep an eye on.
