Ingredients
- 1 small pointed cabbage
- 2 sweet potato (s)
- 1 clove garlic
- 150 g natural cashew nuts
- 200 ml water
- salt and pepper

- Remove the outer leaves and stalk from the pointed cabbage and cut into strips. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into small cubes.
- Fry both together in a coated pan, adding a little water if necessary. Squeeze the garlic clove and add. Stew with a lid over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, puree the cashew nuts with approx. 200 ml water in a good mixer to a fine cream. Add the cashew cream to the vegetables and bring everything to the boil again briefly, then the cashew cream thickens. Season to taste with freshly ground pepper and salt.
- A nice vegan side dish, it goes well with jacket potatoes, for the meat eaters in the family there is something pan-fried with it.
- Tip: You can also replace the sweet potatoes with carrots.
