Soft and airy pumpkin-chocolate muffin is a delicious and easy-to-prepare delicacy from the available products. The addition of chocolate and cocoa powder creates a contrast of flavors and gives the cake crumb a more dramatic appearance. Splashes of chocolate dough resemble streaks on marble, due to which the cake was named “Marble”. Simple, beautiful and tasty! Try it!

Ingredients
Pumpkin (peeled) – 200 g
Eggs – 2 pcs.
Vegetable oil – 100 ml + for lubricating the mold
Sugar – 100 g
Wheat flour – 250 g
Baking dough – 1.5 teaspoon
Salt – 0.25 teaspoon
Black chocolate – 100 g
Cocoa powder – 10 g
Vanilla sugar – 10 g
Directions
Peel the pumpkin and cut into large pieces. Place the pumpkin pieces in a saucepan, pour cold water in enough water to barely cover the pieces. Bring water to a boil and cook for 13-15 minutes, until tender.
Drain, chop the pumpkin until smooth and cool.
Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and line with baking paper. I am using a form measuring 25x11x7.5 cm.
Combine chilled pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil and vanilla sugar. Stir well until the mixture is smooth.
Combine wheat flour with salt and baking powder.
Sift the flour into a bowl of pumpkin mixture.
Stir well until a smooth, lump-free dough is obtained.
Melt the chocolate in a water bath or microwave.
Separate half of the dough and combine with melted chocolate and cocoa powder. Mix well.
Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 ° C. Pour the dough into a mold, alternating between dark and light dough.
Using a wooden skewer or other improvised object, use zigzag movements to mix the dark and light dough so that you get an arbitrary marble pattern.
Bake the pumpkin pie with chocolate in the oven at 180 ° C for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown.
Pumpkin cake “Marble” is ready. Cool the cake slightly, remove from the mold, cut into portions and serve.
