Salad with Potatoes and Smoked Fish

Salad with potatoes and smoked fish is an incredibly delicious men’s salad with spirits.

Cook: 40 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Hot smoked mackerel – 150 g
  • Potatoes – 200 g
  • Salad onion – 15 g
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Pickled gherkins – 5-6 pcs.
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise – 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt – optional
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Dill – a couple of twigs

Directions

  1. Peel the finished potatoes, cut into small cubes, drizzle a little with olive oil so that the potato cubes do not stick together.
  2. Transfer the potatoes to a deep bowl. Peel the fish from skin and bones, cut into cubes, add to the potatoes. (By the way, the fish does not have to be cut, it is very easy and simple to disassemble it into segments by hand.)
  3. Chop the gherkins and lettuce into small cubes. (If no white onion is available, it can be substituted for the red or white portion of green onion.)
  4. Add everything to the potatoes with fish, also add a couple of finely chopped dill sprigs, sprinkle with lemon juice, season with mayonnaise, salt, pepper, mix. Let the fish salad stand for a couple of minutes before serving.
  5. Shape the salad using the serving ring, decorate as you wish.
