Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon grains, coarsely ground (e.g. oats, spelled)
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 0.5 ½ banana (s)
  • 1 nectarine (s)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 50 ml milk or cream

Instructions

  1. Briefly brown the grain in the pot on the highest setting. Deglaze with the water, bring to the boil and let it swell on the switched off hotplate for about 10 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, cut the fruit into small pieces. Mix the porridge with the cinnamon and maple syrup. Put the fruit in a bowl, pour the cereal porridge over it and top with the milk or cream.
  3. Also tastes delicious with baked fruit and pear syrup.
