Spread on Herring Bread

Very tasty and tender spread on herring and herring caviar bread, according to my original recipe. Preparing such a herring snack is quick and easy! It is perfect for breakfast sandwiches and a quick snack.

Cook: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • Lightly salted herring fillet – 100 g
  • Herring caviar in oil – 100 g
  • Boiled egg – 1 pc.
  • Boiled carrots – 1 pc.
  • Soft processed cheese – 200 g
  • Fresh dill – 1 bunch
  • Green onion – 1 pc.

Directions

  1. To make a spread on bread, you will need a fillet of lightly salted herring and herring caviar in oil or caviar from the herring itself (if available).
  2. Chop the herring and caviar as finely as possible.
  3. Grate boiled carrots on a fine or medium grater.
  4. Grind the boiled egg in the same way.
  5. Finely chop fresh dill and green onions.
  6. Combine all prepared ingredients, add soft melted cheese. Mix everything thoroughly.
