Canape with Herring

Canapes with herring can be safely prepared for a festive table. This is a convenient and tasty appetizer that many will love, the combination of black bread and herring can be considered a classic on the home menu.

Ingredients

  • Black bread – 300 g
  • Herring fillet – 150 g
  • Sour apple – 1 pc.
  • Dill – 5 g
  • Green onions – 5 g
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Mustard – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine softened butter, mustard, and finely chopped dill. Grate the sour apple and add to the filling mass. It is better to peel the apple.
  2. Add finely chopped herring fillets. Cut the pieces of bread into small squares to make canapes.
  3. Lubricate black bread squares with herring filling and garnish with green onions, finely chopped beforehand. Canapes with herring are ready. Bon Appetit!
