Stuffed Buns with Sausages, Vegetables and Cheese (in the Oven)

Buns stuffed with sausages, vegetables, and cheese, baked in the oven, are an appetizer option that goes well with a cup of tea or coffee or a glass of cold beer. It turns out a mini-version of pizza – very tasty and appetizing. It is best to serve such stuffed buns to the table immediately after cooking, while the cheese is stretching and the bun itself is crispy.

Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • Buns (I have burger buns) – 3 pcs.
  • Sausages – 3 pcs.
  • Tomatoes – 150 g
  • Cucumbers – 120 g
  • Hard cheese – 80 g
  • Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
  • Mustard – 1 teaspoon
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Peel the onion and cut it into half rings.
  2. Cut the sausages into semicircles.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan put onions and sausages. Fry the ingredients for 4-5 minutes, stirring so as not to burn.
  4. In a separate container, mix the mayonnaise and mustard.
  5. Rinse and dry the tomatoes, cut into strips.
  6. Rinse the cucumber and cut into strips.
  7. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater.
  8. Cut off the tops of the buns, remove the crumb.
  9. Grease the buns inside with a mixture of mayonnaise and mustard.
  10. Fill the buns with sausages and onions.
  11. Put tomatoes and cucumbers on top of the sausages. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  12. Sprinkle cheese on the blanks.
  13. Bake the buns in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. Then take the finished buns out of the oven, cool slightly, and serve.
