Ingredients

  • 300 g minced meat
  • 3 pepper (s), red, yellow and green
  • 1 leek
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 carrot (s)
  • 1 cup rice (large cup)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 cup water, hot
  • 4 tablespoon tomato paste

Vegetable Paella with or Without Pork

Instructions

  1. Clean and chop the vegetables. Fry the meat in olive oil. Fry the carrot pieces, add onion cubes and leek rings and sauté. Then add the diced paprika and rice, stir.
  2. Add hot water, season with salt and pepper and stir in tomato paste. Put the lid on and simmer over a mild heat for about 30 minutes until the rice is cooked through, stirring occasionally.
  3. Very tasty and ideal to cook for children too!
  4. For vegetarians and vegans: without meat.
