Very Juicy Curd Casserole

This is a very tender and juicy lemon-flavored curd casserole made from our family recipe. A very simple and quick recipe for cottage cheese casserole.

Servings: 5

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese – 500 g
  • Eggs – 5 pcs.
  • Lemon (zest) – 1 pc.
  • Butter – 20 g + for greasing the mold
  • Vanilla sugar – 10 g
  • Sugar – 130 g
  • Sour cream (optional)

Directions

  1. Combine eggs, cottage cheese, softened butter, sugar, grated lemon zest, vanilla sugar.
  2. Beat everything well with a blender. You should get a homogeneous creamy mass.
  3. We spread the mass into a mold greased with butter. You can pour a little sour cream on top (optional).
  4. We bake the curd casserole in a preheated oven at a temperature of 170 degrees for 50 minutes. (The casserole rises a lot when baking, so choose a tall pan.)
  5. The curd casserole turns out to be very juicy. After removing the casserole from the oven, let it cool for a couple of hours.
  6. Serve chilled cottage cheese casserole.
