- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 cl liqueur, (peppermint liqueur)
- 2 cl rum, white, or vodka
- 1 bottle sparkling wine, dry

- Squeeze the lime, put the juice in a screw-top glass, dissolve the sugar in it. Add the mint liqueur and rum (or vodka). Close the jar, shake well and let it cool in the refrigerator. To serve, fill the champagne glasses about halfway with them and top up with chilled champagne.
- Particularly suitable as a welcome cocktail at hot summer parties.
