Chicken Kebab With Potatoes (in the Oven)

Chicken kebabs with potatoes and bell peppers is a simple dish that can be made festive. In addition, we immediately prepare a shish kebab and a side dish for it. The dish according to this recipe turns out to be quite dietary, tasty and looks beautiful on the table.

  • Chicken fillet – 500 g
  • Potatoes – 500 g
  • Bulgarian red pepper – 2 pcs.
  • Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Balsamic vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Chicken spice mixture – 1 teaspoon
  • Dill – 2 branches
  • Bulgarian orange pepper – 0.5 pcs.
  • Lemon – 0.5 pcs.


  1. Cut the chicken fillet into equal cubes.
  2. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, chicken spice mixture and 1 tablespoon. a spoonful of vegetable oil.
  3. Place the sliced ​​chicken fillet in the marinade and leave it there for 30 minutes.
  4. Turn on the oven 180 degrees to preheat.
    In the meantime, we will deal with potatoes. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. You can use a curly knife for this.
  5. Peel and chop the onions. In a baking dish, mix the potatoes, chopped onions, salt, pepper, 1 tbsp of vegetable oil and mix everything. We send the form with potatoes to an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Cut the bell pepper lengthwise and remove the stalk with seeds. Cut the bell pepper pulp into squares. They should be about the same size as the chicken fillet.
  7. We string on barbecue sticks alternately pieces of chicken fillet and bell pepper. We take out the form with potatoes, mix the potatoes carefully and place the chicken skewers over the potatoes, as shown in the photo. We send the form back to the oven for 10 minutes. Then turn the skewers over the other side and bake for another 10 minutes.
  8. Chicken skewers with potatoes are ready! Serve with herbs, fresh bell pepper and lemon.
