Chicken Rolls with Honey Agarics Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 3 pcs.
  • Mushroom caviar from honey agarics – 300 g
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

For mushroom caviar:

  • Honey mushrooms (you can take other mushrooms) – 800-900 g
  • Bulb onions – 1-2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

For the sauce:

  • Butter – 50 g
  • Flour – 1 tbsp
  • Milk – 1 glass
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Dry Italian herbs – to taste

Chicken Rolls with Honey Agarics Instructions

  1. Cut each chicken fillet in half lengthwise.
  2. Place each piece between plastic wrap and pound to flatten.
  3. Season all pieces with salt and ground black pepper.
  4. Spread mushroom caviar on each flattened fillet piece.
  5. Roll each fillet tightly from one end to the other, enclosing the mushroom caviar.
  6. Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Place the rolls seam-side down in the hot oil.
  8. Fry for 8-10 minutes until the seam side is golden brown.
  9. Turn the rolls over and fry for another 8-10 minutes until all sides are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 74 °C (165 °F).
