Ingredients

  • 200 g wholemeal spelled flour
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 small egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 cube fresh yeast (yeast)
  • 250 g butter

For covering:

  • 4 apples, approx. 600 grams
  • 70 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • Raisins, to taste
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, knead the flour, butter, eggs, yeast and salt (all room temperature) well by hand - this works perfectly, you don`t need a board - then let the dough rest for 30 minutes (also at normal room temperature) -
  2. Fullness:
  3. Peel the apples, remove the core and then cut into small pieces, mix with the sugar and cinnamon and fold in the raisins as desired
  4. Halve the dough, roll out one half of the dough on a well-floured board to approx. 40 - make sure that there is always well floured under the dough surface - place half the apple filling in the middle and smooth it out a little - fold the edges of the broad sides about 2 cm, then fold the long sides over each other - on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (possibly with the help of a cake lifter)
  5. place - process the 2nd half of the dough in the same way - place the tray in the preheated oven and bake at 160 ° for approx. 35 minutes - when it is cold, sprinkle with icing sugar
