French Toast with Chocolate Spread

French toast is a great breakfast solution! Fast, simple and sophisticated. And the filling can be chosen to your liking. For example, chocolate spread.

Cook: 15 mins

Servings: 2-4

Ingredients

  • Baton – 8 Slices
  • Milk – 100 Milliliters
  • Eggs – 3 Pieces
  • Sugar – 1 Teaspoon
  • Chocolate paste – 2-3 tbsp
  • Ghee butter – To taste (for frying)

Directions

  1. Cut the loaf into 1cm slices. Brush one side with chocolate paste and cover with a second slice.
  2. Whisk the eggs, sugar and milk lightly.
  3. Dip paired loaf slices in milk mixture. Place in a skillet with heated oil and fry until golden brown on both sides. Put the finished toast on napkins to remove excess oil.
  4. Serve hot toast immediately. If possible, supplement with fresh berries or fruits.
  5. To keep your toast cool quickly, preheat the plates or serve directly in the skillet.
