Ingredients

  • 500 g beef
  • 500 g pork
  • 4 onion (s)
  • some oil
  • some paprika powder, noble sweet
  • a bit salt
  • some pepper
  • some cumin
  • some flour
  • 8 pickled cucumber (s)
  • 2 tomato (s)
  • some marjoram

Instructions

  1. Cut the meat into small pieces. Peel and chop the onions and roast them in hot oil until golden.
  2. Sprinkle the onions with paprika and add the meat. Season well with salt, pepper and caraway seeds. Pour water over so that the meat is just covered and let everything stew for about 45 - 60 minutes.
  3. When the meat is done, take it out and reduce the meat juices, dust with a little flour, stir well and return the meat.
  4. In the meantime, dice the cucumber, add the tomatoes and both to the meat. Let everything simmer for another 20 minutes and then season with marjoram.
  5. Bohemian yeast dumplings taste great as a side dish.
