Ingredients

  • 250 g mayonnaise
  • 150 g yourt
  • 1 dash lemon juice concentrate
  • 4 tablespoon currant jelly
  • 6 tablespoon curry powder, English
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ sugar

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Warning: the curry powder can discolor the plastic bowls! Maybe it`s better to use a ceramic bowl.
  2. Mix everything well with a hand mixer to a smooth sauce. Then put in the refrigerator and let it steep. Usually 1 hour should be enough. However, we also like to let it steep overnight, as it develops its aroma more and more over time.
  3. It goes well with meat, fish, poultry, on bread or, as we have done for a long time, with raclette on Christmas Eve.
