Ingredients

For the patties:

  • 350 g round beef, fresh
  • salt and pepper

Moreover:

  • 2 onions)
  • 50 ml red wine
  • 50 ml balsamic vinegar
  • some sugar

For the sauce:

  • 2 slices (cheese )
  • 1 splash milk
  • 5 ml Tabasco

  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 1 large tomato (s)
  • mayonnaise
  • Ketchup
  • Bbq sauce

Instructions

  1. Divide the 350g fresh ground beef into two equal portions of roughly 175g each.
  2. Season each portion generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Form each portion into a compact patty roughly 8cm in diameter and 2cm thick.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is browned. Flip and cook for 3-4 minutes on the other side until browned. The patties are done when they reach an internal temperature of 71°C (160°F).
