Ingredients

  • 0.5 slice ½ (s) orange (s)
  • 7 carnation (s)
  • 4 cl whiskey, Irish (Old Paddy)
  • 5 teaspoon sugar, brown
  • water, hot

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle half of the orange slice with the 7 cloves. Put the sugar in a mug or a grog glass, pour the Old Paddy over it, add the peppered orange slice and fill up with hot water. Stir gently until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. The hot paddy should be drunk before it cools down. If several hot paddies are to be drunk, the peppered orange slice can remain in the glass and can be supplemented with further peppered slices.
