Ingredients

  • 100 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 5 tablespoon water, warm for the dough
  • Remove 1 egg (s) and some egg yolk for brushing!
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 3 apples
  • 1 tablespoon raisins, as needed
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon sugar or vanilla sugar
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • some water for the apples

Instructions

  1. This apple strudel is suitable for a low-fat diet!
  2. If necessary, 30 g melted butter or margarine can be kneaded into the dough!
  3. Sift the flour on a work surface, make a well and drizzle 1 teaspoon of oil on the flour! Pour salt and egg yolk into the hollow and beat with 1 tablespoon lukewarm water!
  4. Using a fork, slowly mix the flour into the ingredients from the middle! Little by little, add the water spoon by spoon and knead into a dough!
  5. Let the dough rest absolutely in a damp cloth for 1 hour!
  6. In the meantime, peel and core the apples and cut into small cubes. Mix with raisins and cinnamon sugar or vanilla sugar and simmer gently for 10 minutes with a little water and honey!
  7. I simmered the raisins to make them soft!
  8. Roll out the dough, which has become very soft after the rest period, thinly on a floured work surface - more like a rectangle!
  9. It is best to straighten it out again on a floured cloth, as the dough keeps contracting a little!
  10. Brush the surface with a little oil!
  11. Now place the steamed apples on the middle surface of the dough and spread them wide! Not all the way to the edges! Place the free areas slightly over the filling to the right and left of the dough! (Prevents leakage)
  12. Now roll up the dough from the long side!
  13. Brush the end of the dough with water and press firmly against the roller!
  14. Beat the leftover egg and some water and brush the roll.
  15. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes at 180 degrees!
  16. WW per serving 2.5 P with raisins and honey
  17. Sugar and honey possibly daily allowance, then 2.0 P / portion!
