Lazy Apple Strudel

Ingredients

  • Thin pita – 3 sheets
  • Apples – 3-5 pcs. (depending on size)
  • Raisins – 70-100 g
  • Sugar – about 100 g
  • Vegetable oil – 50-100 ml

How to cook apple strudel from pita bread

Directions

  1. To begin with, rinse the raisins, pour boiling water and leave for 10-15 minutes, then drain the water.
  2. Peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater. If the apples are too juicy, you can drain the excess juice (it will not be useful to us, you can drink it)).
  3. Mix grated apples with raisins.
  4. Lavash, if it is large, cut it in half, and if not, leave it as it is. Lightly grease each sheet of pita bread on one side with vegetable oil (using a brush) and sprinkle with about 1 tablespoon of sugar.
  5. Spread the apple filling all over the sheet and roll-up.
  6. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Place the apple pita strudel rolls on a baking sheet (you can cover the baking sheet with baking paper). Brush on top with butter and sprinkle lightly with sugar for flavour and beauty.
  7. Place the strudels in the oven until browning – about 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
  8. Apple strudel from pita is ready.
