Ingredients

  • 1 liter vegetable stock
  • 250 g lentils, red
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 1 carrot (s)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and sauté the chopped onion until golden. Gradually fill up with the broth. Add the lentils, salt and the chopped carrot and cook for approx. 40 minutes.
  2. Puree the soup with a hand blender. Season to taste and add a little salt if necessary.
  3. The soup can now be poured into plates and finally add a splash of lemon!
  4. Tastes delicious with fresh flatbread!
