  • 3 zucchini
  • 4 large carrot (s)
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 2 onions)
  • 300 g herbal cream cheese
  • 200 g cooked ham or smoked salmon
  • 1 tablespoon, heaped salt
  • some pepper
  • 150 g cheese, rated
  • some oil

Instructions

  1. Wash vegetables thoroughly. Finely grate the zucchini and add the salt to a bowl with the grated zucchini and mix well. Place the zucchini in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes so that the water in the zucchini is drawn out.
  2. Peel and finely grate the carrots, finely dice the onion.
  3. Squeeze the zucchinis thoroughly in a clean kitchen towel so that as little water as possible remains in the mixture.
  4. Mix the zucchini, onions, carrots, grated cheese and eggs into a mixture and season with a little pepper to taste. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  5. Tip: The rösti comes off the baking paper more easily later if it has been moistened with a little oil beforehand.
  6. Bake the oven rösti for approx. 25 - 30 minutes at 180 ° C until golden brown. Attention: The baking time can vary slightly depending on the oven.
  7. After the dough has cooled down briefly after baking, spread the cream cheese and cover the bottom with the cooked ham or smoked salmon.
  8. Now simply form everything into a roll with the help of the baking paper.
