Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 500 g broccoli
- 1 hot pepper
- 500 g mushrooms
- 200 ml cream
- 1 teaspoon chicken broth, instant
- salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon herbs for pasta, dried
- 500 g pasta (penne)
- 7 tablespoon parmesan, grated

- I once ate pasta with broccoli in Palermo at a busy street stall. The mushrooms and hot peppers go well with it. Doesn`t taste too kohly and is something different for everyday life.
- Slice the mushrooms, separate the broccoli florets, peel the stalks, quarter them lengthways and cut into small pieces. Melt the butter, add the mushrooms and broccoli, season with salt and pepper and sweat for about 10 minutes. Then add the cream, the chopped peppers, herbs and chicken stock. Let everything simmer for about 20 minutes with the lid closed.
- In the meantime, cook the pasta, place in a large bowl, mix with the vegetable sauce, sprinkle with the cheese and mix again.
