Salad “Golden Tango” with Cabbage, Fruits and Millet

An unusual fruit and vegetable salad with the addition of boiled millet will please everyone, without exception, with its color and taste!

Ingredients

  1. Peking cabbage – 200 g
  2. Millet – 40 g
  3. Canned pineapple – 100 g
  4. Orange – 1 pc.
  5. Apple – 1 pc.
  6. Lemon – 0.5 pcs.
  7. Balsamic sauce – 1 teaspoon
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Sugar – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. Prepare all the products on the list for the recipe for cabbage salad with fruits and millet.
  2. Rinse the millet with hot water to remove the bitterness inherent in this cereal. Pour the cereal into a saucepan and pour in 100 ml of water. Add a pinch of salt. Put a saucepan with cereals on fire, let it boil, reduce heat to low and cook millet until cooked. Cool the finished millet.
  3. Finely chop the Peking cabbage with a knife. Place the cabbage in a bowl.
  4. Peel the orange, divide into slices and peel each slice of films. Cut the orange pulp into cubes.
  5. Place the orange slices in a bowl with the Chinese cabbage.
  6. Drain the liquid from the canned pineapple, cut the pineapple rings into cubes.
  7. Add pineapple to bowl.
  8. Cut the apple into cubes, after removing the seed box.
  9. Place the sliced ​​apple in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients.
  10. Put the cooled millet in the salad.
  11. Season with salt and sugar to taste.
  12. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the salad and mix the salad well.
  13. Put the ready-made “Golden Tango” salad with fruit, Chinese cabbage and millet on a dish and pour over the balsamic sauce.
