Sausages in Dough

Sausages in dough are a very tasty snack. You can take them with you to school, work or a picnic. Sausage dough is a combination of soft tender dough and delicious filling.

Servings: 10

Cook: 2 hours

Ingredients

  • Flour – 400 g
  • Water – 250 ml
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Dry yeast – 5 g
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon.
  • Sugar – 1.5 tbsp
  • Sausages – 10 pcs.

Directions

  1. Cooking yeast dough , 1 tbsp sugar, warm water and 2 tbsp flour.
  2. Stir and leave for 15-20 minutes in a warm place.
  3. After 20 minutes, add salt and the remaining sugar to the dough.
  4. We introduce flour.
  5. Knead the dough first with a spoon and then with your hands. Add melted butter and knead into a homogeneous soft dough for 7 minutes.
  6. Cover the dough with a towel and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
  7. After 1 hour, the dough came up.
  8. Knead the dough and divide it into 2 parts.
  9. Roll each part of the dough into a rectangular layer 20 * 30 cm. Cut the layer into long strips about 4 cm wide.
  10. We wrap each sausage with an overlap of dough in a spiral motion.
  11. Put on a baking sheet lined with parchment and leave for 15 minutes, so that the dough rises slightly. Lubricate the blanks with a beaten egg.
  12. We send sausages in yeast dough into an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
