Ingredients

  • 750 g French fries, frozen
  • 2 slices toast
  • 2 onions)
  • 2 stalks parsley
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 2 tomato (s)
  • 1 small romaine lettuce
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • salt
  • Pepper, coarsely ground
  • Chilli powder
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 4 rolls (hamburger), with sesame seeds
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard medium hot
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet

Instructions

  1. Bake the French fries in the preheated oven (electric stove: 200 ° C / convection: 175 ° C / gas: level 3) for 18-22 minutes.
  2. Soak the toast in cold water. Peel the onions and finely dice one onion. Wash the parsley, pat dry and finely chop the leaves.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the onion cubes for 1-2 minutes, then add the parsley. Take the pan off the stove.
  4. Wash tomatoes, cut into thin slices. Cut 1-2 onions into thin slices. Clean, wash and drain the lettuce.
  5. Knead the mince, egg, tomato paste, squeezed bread, onion cubes and parsley. Season the minced meat with salt, pepper and chilli and shape into 4 flat burgers with damp hands. Heat the grill pan and brush with oil. Grill the burger for 4-5 minutes on both sides.
  6. In the meantime, halve the bacon strips and leave them crispy in a pan, then drain on kitchen paper.
  7. Halve the rolls and toast them on the toaster. Brush the lower half of the bun with 1-2 teaspoons of ketchup each, then cover with lettuce, half of the onion rings and strips of bacon and a burger each. Spread 1-2 teaspoons of mustard on each burger and cover with the remaining strips of bacon, onion rings and tomato slices. Season the tomatoes with coarse pepper and salt and close with the bread roll lid.
  8. Season the french fries with salt and paprika powder.
