Ingredients

  • 500 g potato (s)
  • 160 g flour
  • 40 g potato starch
  • 50 g semolina
  • 2 small egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled salt
  • some nutmeg

For the filling:

  • 500 g smoked pork pork (smoked meat)
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • possibly cheese

Instructions

  1. Mince the smoked meat and onion (twist through the mincer), form 10 dumplings from the mixture.
  2. Boil the potatoes, let them cool down, peel them and press them through the potato press, add the remaining ingredients and knead into the dough on a well-floured board, possibly add 1-2 tablespoons of flour,
  3. Divide the dough into 10 pieces, flatten it a little on the floured board, place a piece of smoked meat dumpling on each one and seal the dough well all around. Roll the dumpling in the flour again and then soak it in the boiling salted water, simmer on a slightly lower heat for about 15 minutes.
  4. The filling also tastes very good if you mix in some spicy hard cheese, cut into small cubes.
