Toast with Sweet Curd Mass

A great way to start the day is toast with sweet curd. A sweet spread of cottage cheese is prepared very simply and quickly, and if you make it the night before and send it to the refrigerator for the night, making breakfast will become almost lightning fast. You can serve the curd mass on cookies, crackers, or bread slices fried in a pan. A simple delicacy that goes well with a cup of tea or coffee!

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese – 540 g (I have 3 packs of 180 g each)
  • Butter – 100 g
  • Sour cream – 75-90 g (3 tablespoons with a slide)
  • Sugar – 100 g (0.5 cups)
  • Vanillin – 1 pinch
  • Salt – 1/4 teaspoon

For the filling (optional):

  • Bread – 2-3 slices

Directions

  1. We prepare products according to the list. From this amount of ingredients, I got about 800 g of curd mass.
    It is best to choose high-quality butter and sour cream.
    Cottage cheese is suitable for any percentage of fat.
    It is best to remove the butter from the refrigerator beforehand.
  2. Cooking croutons.
    Cut the slices of bread diagonally. Heat a dry frying pan without oil over medium heat, spread the bread, and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
    Then we transfer the fried bread to a plate.
  3. Transfer the softened butter into a deep bowl and beat with a mixer or hand blender at high speed until fluffy and whitening.
  4. Add sugar, salt, and vanillin.
  5. Beat again with a mixer or blender until smooth.
  6. Continuing to beat the mass, little by little (in parts) add cottage cheese and sour cream (I did this in three steps).
  7. Beat until the sugar is completely dissolved and a lush and thick curd mass is obtained. You can eat the curd mass immediately, but if you chill it in the refrigerator, it will become even tastier.
  8. Put the finished curd mass on crispy toasts and enjoy!
