  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 50 g butter, soft
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 150 g yourt
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 squirt lemon juice
  • some milk, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour and baking powder. Stir in the remaining ingredients, except for the milk, until a malleable dough is formed. This works best with a dough hook. Shape approx. 8 balls of the same size with floured hands. If the dough is still a bit sticky, simply work in a little more flour, but only as much as is needed. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and cut the surface in a cross shape. This works particularly well with scissors. Brush with milk and bake on the middle rack at 180 ° C for about 15-20 minutes, until they have turned lightly. We like them best when they are still fresh from the oven, i.e. lukewarm. The dough makes 8 rolls, but when calculating the quantity you should make sure that the rolls are smaller than the normal rolls from the baker. Although the rolls have a sweet note, they also taste very good with a hearty topping.
