Ingredients

  • 1 glass plum (s), approx. 400 g drained weight
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 packet vanilla pudding powder for cooking
  • 400 ml milk
  • 100 g whipped cream
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. For the compote, drain the plums in a colander, drain and collect the juice. Briefly bring the juice to the boil with cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Bind the starch with 2 tablespoons of water and simmer in the juice for 1 minute while stirring. Then add the plums and remove the compote from the stove.
  2. Mix the custard powder with 3 tablespoons of sugar and 100 ml of milk until smooth. Bring the rest of the milk and cream to the boil and add the mixed pudding powder. Let the pudding simmer for 1 minute while stirring, then take it off the stove and let it cool down a little, stirring briefly in between.
  3. Divide some compote between four glasses and pour the pudding on top. Chill the dessert for at least 2 hours. Spread the rest of the compote on top before serving.
