Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast fillet (s)
  • 2 tablespoon paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 0.25 ¼ cup sauce (Berbere sauce)
  • 0.25 ¼ cup white wine
  • 0.75 ¾ cup (s) water
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 2 pinches cardamom
  • 2 pinches fenugreek
  • 2 cm ginger, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 clove (s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 onions)
  • 4 egg (s), hard-boiled

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast fillets into cubes and fry them in the butter. Take out of the pan and keep warm.
  2. Fry the chopped onions with the garlic, then mix in lemon juice, salt, ginger, fenugreek, cardamom, nutmeg and fry for 2 minutes. Add water, wine, Berber sauce (recipe in the database) and paprika, simmer for about 5 minutes. Then add the chicken breast cubes again and cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Peel the eggs and prick with a fork or toothpick and place in the sauce, simmer for another 10 minutes. Tastes delicious on injera or with fresh white bread.
