Ingredients

  • 900 g spelled flour (whole rain)
  • 150 g flaxseed
  • 150 g millet
  • 150 g sesame seeds, unpeeled
  • 150 g sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 liter buttermilk
  • 125 ml milk
  • 2 ¼ cubes yeast
  • 0.75 ¾ Mug turnip tops

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Heat the buttermilk, milk, yeast and turnip tops and then add to the other ingredients in the bowl. Mix everything well, do not let the dough rise.
  3. Now pour the mixture into either a greased 30 cm bread box form or two 30 cm cake box forms and then bake on the middle rack.
  4. About 10 minutes at 180 ° C, then switch down to 150 ° C and bake the large bread for another 90 minutes, if there are two small ones, bake for another 75 minutes.
  5. Let the bread cool down before cutting. It is easy to freeze in portions.
