Ingredients
- 1 kg potato (s), peeled, quartered lengthways and crossways
- 1 red pepper (s), cut into small cubes
- 1 chilli pepper (Japaleno), wash and cut into fine strips (leave the seeds with it)
- 500 g meat (e.. mixed minced meat, pieces rabbit, chicken wins, etc.)
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 2 teaspoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 cloves garlic, sliced
- 2 onion (s), diced
- 1 ½ liter vegetable broth, strong
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 handful vegetables, mixed your choice (frozen)
- 1 teaspoon pepper, coarsely ground
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon thyme

- Prepare all ingredients as described in the list of ingredients.
- Then cut the meat into bite-sized pieces (not required for minced meat and chicken wings) and place in a bowl. Then sprinkle with the various spices and stir vigorously by hand.
- Heat the olive oil in a very deep pan and brown the onion in it until golden. Now add the meat and fry it, stirring frequently, until it has turned a nice brown color. Add the peeled and sliced potatoes, the bell pepper, the chilli pepper (Japaleno) and the celery and roast through. Dissolve the tomato paste in the vegetable stock and pour it on. Turn down the heat, cover with a lid and simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Then raise the temperature again and slowly reduce the liquid by half (let it thicken). Then add the vegetables and cook for another 10 minutes. Finally add the kidney beans and mix in.
- Always works, is easy and tastes incredibly good with garlic bread.
