Honey Cake in 15 Minutes

Today we offer you a simple recipe for the Honey cake. The cake is obtained with a bright honey taste, but unlike the classic one, it does not require rolling the cakes. “Lazy” honey cake is prepared quickly, simply, it turns out soft and soaked. The dough is kneaded for literally 5 minutes, and it bakes very quickly too. Be sure to try cooking!

Ingredients

For the dough:

Eggs – 2 pcs.
Sugar – 3 tbsp
Honey (liquid) – 3 tbsp
Baking soda – 1 the spoon
Flour – 1.5-2 cups
For the cream:
Sour cream 24% fat – 600 g
Powdered sugar – 0.5 cups

Directions

Let’s start by making the dough. Mix eggs, sugar, liquid honey until smooth.
Add soda to the sifted flour.
Mix evenly – and the dough is ready.
Pour the dough into a parchment-covered mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
While the honey cake is baking, prepare sour cream: beat the sour cream and powdered sugar.
Cool the honey cake layer a little, and while warm – cut into 3 parts.
We coat the cakes and sides of the honey cake with cream.
Sprinkle crumbs on the “Honey” cake with sour cream. Let it soak for at least 2-3 hours!
“Lazy” honey cake turns out to be soft and saturated.
