Japanese-Style Potato Zrazy (Сroquettes)

Everything turned out very tasty and easy! I cook potato zrazy or Japanese croquettes (korroke), I have long wanted to try this recipe. Repeat after me, to your health!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes (boiled) – 300 g
  • Minced meat (pork) – 150 g
  • White cabbage – 50 g
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Green onion – several feathers
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Flour – 2-3 tbsp
  • Breadcrumbs – 2-3 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

Directions

  1. We crush the hot boiled potatoes well with a crush (boiled potatoes in salted water).
  2. Throw chopped garlic (pressed through a press) into a pan with a small amount of heated vegetable oil for 5-7 seconds – until the aroma appears.
  3. It’s time to add minced meat to the pan with garlic. Fry the minced meat until the color changes, a couple of minutes.
  4. Chop cabbage and green onions.
  5. Add cabbage and green onions to the minced meat, fry for a couple of minutes.
  6. Pour in soy sauce. Mix everything well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Combine the cooked minced meat with mashed potatoes, mix and cool.
  8. Form oblong cutlets.
  9. Roll potato cutlets with minced meat and cabbage in flour. Then we send the cutlets into a beaten egg, and then into crackers.
  10. Fry potato croquettes (korroquet) in well-heated oil on all sides until deliciously golden brown!
  11. Spread the potato croquettes on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  12. Serve potato zrazy and serve!
