Potato Zrazy with Cheese

There are never too many potato dishes! Moreover, if these are mouth-watering potato zrazy, for the preparation of which you need only 5 ingredients. Delicate, easy-to-prepare zrazy from boiled potatoes stuffed with hard cheese – a hearty breakfast or snack. Try it!

Ingredients

  • Peeled potatoes – 500 g
  • Wheat flour – 45 g
  • Sugar – 30 g
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 1-2 tbsp
  • Hard cheese – 80 g

Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into slices 0.5-1 cm thick.
  2. Boil water. Place the potato slices in boiling water and cook for 10-15 minutes, until tender.
  3. When the potatoes are ready, drain the broth. Place the potatoes in a bowl, add sugar and mash with a pusher until puree. The combination of lightly sweetened mashed potatoes and salty cheese will add an unusual flavor to the food.
  4. Sift the wheat flour into a bowl of mashed potatoes. Mix everything well.
  5. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Grease your hands with vegetable oil, divide the potato mass into small portions, and roll into balls. Then flatten the ball in the palm of your hand and place some cheese in the center. Connect the edges of the potato cake, pinch and roll again into a ball.
  6. Preheat a skillet and brush with vegetable oil. Place in a skillet and lightly smudge the potato balls to make zrazy about 1 cm thick. Fry the potato zrazy over low heat until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  7. Potato zrazy with cheese is ready. Enjoy your meal!
