Ingredients

  • 1 small Head white cabbage (white cabbage), stalk removed, cut into pieces like noodles
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon crackling lard
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 g pork belly, cut into strips
  • Noodles (Fleckerl, type noodle in a square shape)
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Lightly roast the onions in the lard. Roast the garlic briefly. Add the cabbage and steam everything for about 15 minutes with a little water.
  2. Fry the bacon in a little oil until translucent.
  3. Cook the stains in salted water until they are firm to the bite, then strain, add to the cabbage and stir. Then mix in the pork belly.
  4. Season the cabbage steaks with salt and pepper.
