Ingredients

  • 3 slices meat loaf
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 3 medium pepper (s), red and yellow
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 3 tablespoon tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs, at will
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Dice the Leberkäse and fry in a little oil. Cut the onions and peppers into small pieces, add and fry briefly. Top up with the broth and cook covered for about 10 minutes.
  2. Then stir in the sour cream and tomato paste, bring to the boil again briefly and season with herbs and spices.
  3. You may have to add a little more broth, I usually get by with 200 ml.
  4. We like mashed potatoes best with it. Rice or noodles also go well. If you replace the Leberkäse with sausages, you get a sausage goulash.
