Ingredients

  • 200 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 100 g butter
  • 4 tablespoon water
  • 50 grams sugar
  • Cheese mass:
  • 6 egg (s), separated
  • 200 g suar
  • 500 g quark
  • 600 g sour cream
  • 1 lemon (s), which juice and zest
  • 100 grams flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the shortcrust pastry according to your preferred method and line a greased springform pan with it. Chill until use.
  2. For the cheese mixture, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until creamy. Gradually stir in the quark and sour cream, lemon juice and finally flour and baking powder.
  3. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
  4. Pour into a greased springform pan (28-30 cm) and bake at 180 ° C for about 1 hour.
  5. The mass rises very high, that`s normal!
  6. Immediately after baking, turn it out onto a wire rack and let it cool there.
  7. Then turn it around again and remove it from the mold.
  8. The cake now has a nice pattern on the top.
