Ingredients

  • 250 g minced meat, half and half
  • 480 g sauerkraut
  • 100 g tomato paste
  • 1 liter milk
  • 0.5 liter ½ cream
  • some Sambal Oelek
  • salt and pepper
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Sear the minced meat, chop the sauerkraut and add it, simmer for about 15 minutes on a low flame, stir in the tomato paste and pour in a little broth, simmer for 10 minutes, add the cream first and then add the milk two minutes later.
  2. Bring everything to the boil and season with sambal oelek, salt, pepper and sugar.
  3. It goes best with flatbread or baguette.
