Ingredients

  • 750 g potato (s), medium-sized, new harvest
  • 80 g butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 100 g cheese, medium hard cheese (Appenzeller, Gouda)
  • 1 bunch chives

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220 degrees .
  2. Wash the potatoes and place one at a time on aluminum foil. Spread half of the butter on top in small flakes. Salt and pepper each potato and wrap tightly in aluminum foil. Bake in the oven on a baking sheet for about 50 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, grate the cheese finely. Cut the chives into rolls. Take the potatoes out of the oven, unwrap them, cut them in the middle and push them apart a little. Put back on the baking sheet, sprinkle with cheese and grill for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chives.
