Strawberry Sambuc

Incredibly airy and sweet dessert made from strawberries and whipped egg white. It grows weightless, melts in your mouth. Try to cook this treat for the kids, they will appreciate it, I promise you that!

Ingredients

  • Strawberry – 220 Grams
  • Sugar – 50 Grams
  • Gelatin – 10 Grams
  • Egg whites – 2 Pieces
  • Water – 3-4 Art. spoons (for diluting gelatin)

Directions

  1. Prepare sambuca foods. Sort out the strawberries, use only healthy and ripe berries. Rinse and cut off the ponytails, let the excess moisture drain.
  2. Add sugar to the berries and use a hand blender to make a smooth strawberry puree. There should be no lumps.
  3. Pour gelatin with cold water, stir and leave to swell for 7-8 minutes.
  4. Wash the chicken eggs, separate the whites from the yolks, we don’t need the yolks. Whisk the cooled proteins until firm peaks. Introduce them into the strawberry mass. Stir with a spatula.
  5. Heat the gelatin to 60 degrees so that it all dissolves. Add gelatin to the strawberry protein mass. Mix very well.
  6. Pour strawberry sambuc into molds. Send it to the refrigerator to solidify. The time depends on the quality of the gelatin and the size of the molds. My sambuc was ready in 1 hour.
